Great fried chicken

This is such wonderful gourmet comfort food! I love the fried chicken, the mashed potatoes, the cobbler for dessert -- Yummy.

They also will put together the most wonderful gift baskets and deliver them to a friend's door. Who doesn't want to open their door and find every delicious thing in a basket?

joan's is a great gourmet market for cheeses, pate, charcuterie, soups, salads, well just about anything. the turkey meatloaf on a french baguette is delicious, as well as the mac and cheese. to me it's one of the best around. the parking can be difficult, but they have valet in the back. you can also eat there, but you pay first, then find a table. if you need a quick bite, grab the ficele, it's a tiny baguette with fromage and house cured ham...sooo good. don't forget to grab something from the sweet side, everything is always good.

joans on third is the best for cupcakes... forget about sprinkles and head straight here..

and, if you ever forget to cook for that twenty-person dinner party at your house, just order from here and fake it.

They have good cookies and other goodies. Can be crowded and over priced.
