No scene. One of my favorite places for sushi. Great for lunch but call ahead for reservations...also needed for dinner. Lotus root and kabocha are definitely worth ordering.

When you don't have time for crispy rice and tuna from Koi you can get it here in a flash and for a fraction of the price. Pick up an order or come in with no reservation but be prepared because the acoustics also serve up a huge plate of noise and loud conversation.

this is currently one of my favorite restaurants. i could eat here twice a week if i didn't work as much as i do. some dishes that i love are the yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno, baked crab roll, spicy tuna roll on crispy rice, and rock shrimp tempura on spicy tuna roll.

one of the main reasons i love this place is the lack of attitude from the staff. the staff is actually friendly. this place isn't a scene like the katsu-ya in brentwood so you can come and just enjoy the food.

Secret Spot, that ain't so Secret...

OK, lemme start by saying this restaurant serves some of the best sushi I've ever eaten. The service is great and extremely attentive. I always grab my place at the sushi bar and order me some kobe beef, spicy tuna on cripsy rice and a LARGE sake.

Tip: Get a seat at the sushi bar and ask to sit in front of Tai, he wont steer you wrong!
