Male / 32 / Denver, COGood Atmosphere
Have always been a fan of the layout of this place. It's been around as a live venue for quite some time and it's latest incarnation is the best yet. Great indie bands play here more often than not. Recommended!

Male / 28 / Denver, COawesome place to see a band. cheap drinks, good atmosphere, lots of places to lock up your fixed-gear bicycle. it's the opposite of LoDo.

A great scene for music and people. Make sure Matty Clark pours you a drink. He's a fabulous bartender. :)

Female / 26 / Denver, COSome good acts come through this venue and it's often the place to see a band in an intimate setting before they get big.

Male / Denver, CONo Popped Collars ... Refreshing
Living in Denver, sometimes you just have to escape that choad-y LoDo vibe ... popped collars, macho frat-boy attitudes, and materialism come to mind. The Hi-Dive is a place that -- despite it's rugged appearance and likely the highest tattoo coverage per capita in the city -- feels like home. The people are friendly, and most of all, the shows are fun; not always the biggest names, but surely the best local bands. One of my favorite nights out in Denver is watching my buddy Eric and his band The Swayback play the Hi-Dive and getting out of there with a < $10 bar tab. Schweet.

Male / 29 / Denver, COThere can be some pretty lame attitude at this place that I don't get at all, but some amazing bands play here and the sound/overall setup of the venue is pretty spot on.
