Said it's one if his favorites, and this man knows New York restaurants. Everything I had was top notch. The sides are all excellent. If you have a large enough party, just get them all.

The chef is self-trained, and very talented. That gives the food a slightly different angle from most of the other excellent New York establishments.

East Village Gem

Seasonal ingredients make up highly composed dishes served in an elegant, cozy, intimate setting. Equally good for a date as dinner with friends. Great place to discover new wines as they offer many you've never heard of, but are very helpful in guiding you to something you'll enjoy.
