Male / 26 / Denver, COblack and white videos can keep you entertained for hours, or step outside, by the fire put and sit on some tree stump stools. Community table is a great addition.

Male / 45 / Denver, COGreat summer patio. What was once a crappy hamburger bar is now the best place in the lower highlands.

Male / 30 / Denver, COI'm a little biased towards this place, because it's right down the street from where I live, but they have some great tapas and the pesto pasta is great.

After being stood up by a cop named Joe Deedon I decided to go into Forest Room and have a glass of wine alone. The men at the bar were kind, made me feel welcome and somehow I ended up with a pair of Forest Room 5 booty shorts. I love them! I couldn't have had a better experience.....

Fun crowd, unique ambiance. Service is usually really bad but it's by far my favorite bar in the Highlands.

Small plates are great and the interior is very eclectic and fun! Similar feel to the 9th Door if you are looking for a modern, unique setting with good food and ambiance.

Male / Denver, COBad service, great bar
FR5 is well-known for its ridiculously poor service. But as long as you go in knowing that it might take a little while to get your cocktail, you won't be disappointed.
With one of the best rooms (and best patios) in the city, and talented bartenders, too, waiting for your drink is just part of the experience.

I went on a Friday night and it was pretty crowded- more guys than girls. Seemed like a cool place, don't have to get too dressed up. There is an outside area with a couple of fire pits which are nice (if you can get by one). They also play old black and white films on the walls which give a unique feel to the place. I'd go there again.

Funky, artistic, unique bar. Their tapas menu rocks. You have to the mini forest burgers or the Saganaki!
Great place for a night out or a chill drink or two.
