A sign of great things to come

Ford's was one of the first new hip joints to open in Downtown Culver City and it set a very high standard. Great atmosphere, maybe the best in the whole town. The food is as great as the atmosphere, the pulled pork is to die for!

I know I'll jinx it, but...

I've never had a bad meal here. There, I said it. Good comfort food. Excellent fish and chips/onion rings, which are greasy as hell. The pulled pork sandwich is pretty amazing. Great selection of italian meats for an app. Great fish. Great everything. Eat it. Also, the butter leaf salad is pretty great too..

Worth the trip

This place is one of the reasons that Culver City is on the culinary map and it is definitely worth the trip. Best described as a gastro-pub there is warm, friendly (though sometimes crowded) atmosphere. Start with a board of cured meats and cheeses - then move on to the flatbreads (the one with meatball if they have it). The burrata with beets and short ribs are also yummy. They have a full bar with great drinks and nice bartenders. The outside patio is great for people watching on a weekend night.

Ford's was the first and still the best. If you are going to make the day trip to Culver City or just passing through this is the place to stop for lunch or dinner. The burgers and pulled pork are amazing!

The coolest thing about Ford's is probably that you can watch them make the food, very fun. The building is fairly small giving it a nice vibe. Everything has a really cool vintage feel. Good for a meal, but best for a long night of wine, cured meats and cheeses.
