The beginning of Vancouver's revitalization campaign

What used to be a breeding ground for bums, is now a great place to take pictures, play with the kids on the playground or have a laid back game of Frisbee. Starbucks is across the way, as well as a good Thai restaurant and a great salon.

Best thing? The Saturday Farmer's Market that runs along the West side of the park. A real treat and fantastic locavore picks.
