Esperanto used to be a hidden gem (still is, sort of) when I first discovered it. It's a small place, but very well laid out so they fit lots of people in there. The cuisine is considered "pan latin", mainly consisting of Brazilian, Cuban, and other latin dishes. I've tried basically everything they have to offer, and it is all delicious!
Favorite dishes for me include the salmon, Moquecas Bahiana, Camarones de la Feria, Carne Asada and the Pollo de la Casa. It's hard to pick favorites since everything is so good (including the appetizers).
They have a great brunch menu as well. I believe brunch is on sat/sun. They also have live music often. I believe most nights, as well as brunch.
This is a great place to take a date or a small group of friends or family. The service is very friendly, but you might have to nudge them sometimes to get a bill, but I think that's mainly because they want you to hang out, enjoy the tunes and chill.
BTW, there's also outdoor seating in the spring and summer.
