America Favorite House DJ, Bad Boy Bill, releases his first ever live mix album/concert DVD, Behind The Decks LIVE CD + DVD this October. Nationwide album launch tour kicks off Oct 12 in Sacramento.

Recently voted "America's Favorite House DJ - 2006" by the readers of BPM Magazine (an award which he also won in 2003), Bad Boy Bill releases his first ever live mix album & concert DVD, Behind The Decks LIVE. With Bill's reputation built upon his phenomenal club sets that incorporate extravagant visuals and live dance performances in addition to Bill's fierce turntable prowess, it was only logical for Bill to release his first ever live performance audio/visual set. Filmed and recorded over Memorial Day weekend 2006 at three of the nation's premier nightclubs: The Church in Denver, Avalon in Hollywood, and Crobar in Bill's hometown of Chicago, the DVD features footage shot from over 10 cameras captured in stunning Dolby 5.1 and DTS Surround Sound. Never one to short his fans, the DVD rounds out at over 2 hours and includes exclusive multi-media content, behind the scenes features, exclusive visuals, & interviews in addition to the live concert footage.

We would be remiss, however, if we did not talk about the amazing music featured on Behind The Decks LIVE. From the start, this mix grabs your attention with its banging electro house vibes and doesn’t let go. Bill effortlessly weaves outstanding tracks and remixes from current house music heroes Eric Prydz, Green Velvet, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Paul Woolford, Fedde Le Grand, Kurd Maverick, Joachim Garraud, JJ Flores & Steve Smooth into a very owsounding club set, all the while incorporating his traditional use of multiple a cappellas to create on the fly mash ups. The mix album also features exclusive new original productions from Bad Boy Bill himself ("Just Like I Want" and "Someday"), making this a release that you have to see to believe.

Bill got his start DJing as a teenager, joining a DJ crew in the neighborhood and spinning at DJ battles. Only a senior in high school, Bad Boy Bill started his own record label. He eventually became a household name on Chicago's B96, using his "Bad Boy Bill" audio ID as a way of distinguishing himself from the other DJs on the radio. Today, Bill spends most of his time producing tunes in the studio or out on the road, playing up to 150 gigs annually, everywhere from New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles to international hotspots including Peru, Columbia, Germany, England, and Spain.

Bad Boy Bill

One of my favorite house djs. He captivated me back in 1997 when I saw his video Banging the Box Vol 3 on T.V. in Chicago. I became a hardcore fan and seen him countless times. He incorporates hip hop techniques into his sets and is worth seeing every time. I have meet him several times and he is very friendly, takes pictures, and remains grounded. He keeps a positive relationship with his fans. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be so wrapped up in this house music.. Lots of Love. P.S. Even my mom likes BBB LOL

this guy is the greatest dj why? cause he brings actual dj skills to the dancefloor way ahead of his time and works with a dynamic team ! when i was a teenager i seen him perform at nitro 10 years ago ! i seen him perform a couple years ago at the congress theater too! hes the only dj ive ever heard of to go from having vynl of his own, mix tapes ,cds,interactive cds and now dvds where you can get the best of the best of his stuff on there dont forget to click on the behind the seens dj bam bam will crack you up makes you wish you wer there laughn ! dont forget hes on you tube also rember u dance with b96 ! and the dmc battle ! and of coure the behind the decks live trailer !!!! i only wish to be half as good !
