Female / 35 / Lafayette, COFresh off the boat, this is great affordable seafood. Start off with the famous clam chowder and some oysters and the rest is gravy! You'll feel right at home dining at this joint.

Great seafood in a VERY casual setting (they serve Stag's Leap in clear plastic wine "glasses"). Prices aren't that cheap, but what is. Also a great place to get seafood to grill at home.

Beware of the Crab Cooker. Once you ear their bread you are screwed. Their gigantic bread rolls will have you driving for hours just to eat them.
Everytime I'm in Newport Beach I make sure to pick up about three huge bread rolls to bring back home. Make sure to visit!!

Nothing in the joint is over 10 bucks! Great seafood and a very reasonable price. Summer time is absolutely packed, but well worth the wait.
Nothing tastes better after a long surf session at Blackies then a medium chowder and some bread while sitting on the bench outside.
Famous for their Manhattan chowder (red) and smoked albacore. If you're on the Newport Penninsula you have to try it at least once.
