Beer School

Check out Beer School at Cicero's, every Wednesday, from about 5:30-6:30. The Fall Semester is just about to wrap up, but the Spring Semester should be just about as awesome...

Aside from "free tuition" (read: no cover), perks include half-price appetizers (try the pizza chips!), free samples of featured beers in class (usually 3-5 are sampled), and weekly specials that feature discounts on bottles and pitchers of Beer School featured beers.

Take notes, and you could win prizes...

Some featured brewers included Arcadia Ales, Bells, O'Fallon, Schlafly and Odell.

pizza & beer & atmosphere

They are known for their beer selection and pizza but make sure you try everything on the menu. If at anytime you need to use the restroom you will probably notice a live band giving an amazing up close and personal performance in the next room. If you would rather play your own instrument try to join in on the Guitar Hero competition that may be going on that night. I like Cicero's and the Delmar Loop so much I decided to take some photos and mess with them in Photoshop. What do you think of this one?
