great place to check out underground and new bands for less than some of the other local venues. no cover charge or door list, but a ticket is usually required. nightlife in the surrounding area is good as well!

I love seeing shows here- the bartenders are cool too.

No longer XXX

Yeah this place used to be a seedy adult movie theater in its day. Now it is one of the best small venues in the city for live music. Pleanty of good restaurants in the area.

Best Denver Venue!

Love the atmosphere, the sound, and most importantly the bands which frequent this internationally famous venue. Gotta go!

Bluebird is a smaller venue but a great place to get up close and personal with bands that come to denver! Drinks arent too expensive. Great place to have a good time!

I have an affinity for the East Colfax venues, and when I drive by the Bluebird Theater, I always look the board to see who's playing next. It's not out of the realm of possibility for me to see the name of a band I just discovered, and I'll buy tickets THAT day to see the show THAT night... super laid back, great new/small indie/folk bands...

Perfect Size

The Bluebird is the perfect-sized venue to see live music. You can get up close and have a more intimate experience than some of the larger venues.
