Old School Jazz Haunt

Yeah, so it's a little musty, and the drinks ain't cheap, but it's well worth the price of admission because you know you're surrounded by some grand history. My advice for a great night out is to get dolled up for a nice dinner somewhere in midtown and then roll in to Bemelmans for the last set of the night, where you'll kick back with a glass (bottle?) of champagne or a scotch and revel in some great jazz music.

Never too crowded, always good for a glass of wine or champagne. They give you little snacks. Excellent for work drinks, girls night where you can actually talk, post-benefit cocktail. Classy.

I'm with the band

I like to tuck into a corner table with a glass of overpriced Ruinart and pretend I know the band. It's so dope here it will make you wish you grew up in a different era.

Old school posh cocktail place

Great jazz sets. Be prepared to drop dime on your drinks but worth it as the lighting is divine, the mood is romantic and you feel like you're in Casablanca.
