Go to ACL for all the middle of the day and late afternoon bands. The headliners are obviously cool but it is crowded for them and you often are stuck far away and without great sound quality but in the later afternoon you can see tons of really good bands in a much more intimate way they you could in much larger shows if they were playing on their own
